DALLAS, TX – New York Times best-selling authors Harlan Coben, Dana Perino, Jodi Picoult, Scott Simon and Markus Zusak will headline the Barbara Bush Foundation for Family Literacy’s 14th annual Celebration of Reading Dallas/Fort Worth on Monday, Oct. 12, at the Morton H. Meyerson Symphony Center in Dallas.

The Celebration of Reading includes guest appearances by members of the Bush family, musical entertainment by the Lake Highlands High School Espree Group and Choir, and an inspirational testimony from students directly impacted by the literacy programs of the Barbara Bush Foundation.

Individual tickets are available at $250 and include a pre-event reception, preferred seating at the Celebration of Reading program, and dinner immediately following.

A limited number of program-only tickets are available for $100 and include the pre-event reception and reserved seating at the Celebration of Reading program.

Tickets can be purchased online at www.barbarabush.org/events or in person at the AT&T Performing Arts Center Information Center at 2353 Flora St. in Dallas.

Funds raised from the annual Celebration of Reading help support the family literacy and reading mentoring programs of the Barbara Bush Foundation, including Teen Trendsetters™, an anchor program that pairs teen mentors with first-, second- and third-grade students who are six months or more behind in reading. Last year, funds raised from the Celebration of Reading helped launch 15 new programs in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.

Sponsorship opportunities are available and include exclusive events such as a VIP reception with photo opportunity with guest authors, preferred seating at the reading event, and premier seating at dinner with members of the Bush family or guest authors.
