For more than three decades, the Barbara Bush Foundation’s Celebration of Reading events have brought together bestselling authors, entertainers, and special guests to raise support for nationwide literacy programs and increase awareness of our country’s literacy challenge.

On November 20, 2024, we look forward to gathering with friends and supporters for a very special Celebration of Reading in New York City. Featuring an outstanding lineup of authors and guests, the event will also serve as the launch of the Barbara Bush Centennial – a yearlong celebration of the 100th anniversary of our founder’s birth.

Hotel Accommodations: Barbara Bush Foundation Room Block

Hotel accommodations can be booked through our custom reservation link at the The Concorde Hotel New York (127 East 55th Street New York, NY 10022) for Tuesday, November 19 and Wednesday, November 20.

To receive the negotiated rate of $429/night, reservations for the room block must be made before October 18, 2024.
