Former First Lady Michelle Obama shared a message congratulating the Foundation on a 30 year legacy at the 2019 National Celebration of Reading. She shared the impact Mrs. Bush had on her personally, saying that Mrs. Bush was “someone who knew how to get things done, how to use her platform for good,” and set an example for all First Ladies who followed.
