For more than three decades, the Barbara Bush Foundation’s Celebration of Reading events have brought together bestselling authors, entertainers, and special guests to raise support for nationwide literacy programs and increase awareness of our country’s literacy challenge.

In February 2025, we gathered with friends and supporters for a very special Celebration of Reading in Coral Gables co-chaired by Sandra Bush, Jeb Bush, Jr., and Raquel (Rocky) A. Rodriguez Featuring an outstanding lineup of authors and guests, this event was part of the Barbara Bush Centennial – a yearlong celebration of the 100th anniversary of our founder’s birth. It was a memorable and inspiring evening in support of literacy!
