Barbara Bush Foundation for Family Literacy Honors ConocoPhillips with Founders Award

Kennebunkport, Maine – ConocoPhillips is the first recipient of the Barbara Bush Foundation for Family Literacy’s Founders Award in recognition of the company’s generosity and continued support of literacy for all.
Founder Barbara Bush and Honorary Chair Doro Bush Koch presented the award to ConocoPhillips’ representative Andrew Lundquist during a private reception just before the Foundation’s Maine Celebration of Reading on September 8. During the award presentation, Koch commended ConocoPhillips for its dedication to supporting education in the communities where its employees live and work, and expressed her gratitude for the more than $1.9 million that the company has given in support of the Barbara Bush Foundation’s programs over the years.
ConocoPhillips was the first supporter to be inducted into the Founder’s Society, which is composed of donors who have provided more than $1 million in support for the Foundation since its inception in 1989.
