A gift of any amount will help us give more families the lifelong gift of reading. Use the slider below to see some examples of how your contribution makes a difference:
$50 underwrites a set of curriculum materials for each first- or second-grader participating in our intensive reading programs.
$250 provides one month of early childhood education for a child 0-4 years old. Children who are not kindergarten-ready are half as likely to read well by third grade.
$2,500 sends a young child and parent to a structured adult-child program together for a year, through a Barbara Bush Foundation family literacy program!
$5,000 helps to establish—or $10,000 will fully fund—a Teen Trendsetters™ reading mentors program in a community that will touch 30 total students on average! You can be a part of increasing the reading gains of first- or second-graders who are woefully behind and struggling.
MORE WAY TO GIVE
Your donation directly benefits literacy programs across the nation — and 100% of the Foundation’s fundraising expenses are paid from other sources.
